Metropolitan Opera in Lincoln Center is 120 year old, and is New York's premier venue for opera. Back in Manhattan, at the City Center six dance troupes are in residence, along with America's two choreographic giants, the Paul Taylor Dance Company and the Merce Cunningham Dance Company.
